Waroona Bus

Popped down to Waroona, WA. Roughly an hour south of Perth to check out a 1985 Hino school bus, with a flat floor that for private sale.

It’s always interesting to see what people have done or not done to bus builds, and while this one is pretty much a blank canvas, looking at it has made me think that a lot about where I want to spend some money.

The engine purred, and it has a bull bar and a tow bar. But I would need to deal with the rust, rip out the wiring (I plan to put in home automation but more on that later), and take up the flooring to see what’s under it. It’s also not at all fuel efficient, and I’m wondering if I should factor fuel efficiency more into my plans. Not that I have any money to buy a bus right now anyway!

Popped down to the damn to mull on it and let the puppies out. Beautiful spot, and one that I would like to spend some time at when I do get my ideal camper.
