Just come back from my favourite spot in W.A. Cliffhead is 3.5 hours north of Perth between Arrowsmith and Dongara. There are multiple sites available and plenty of space for caravans, buses, tents, vans and 4×4’s right next to the beach. And best of all, its free for 3 days (max 72 hours in a month stay).
I come back year after year to enjoy the facilities. With drop toilets, BBQ areas and fires (when not in total fire ban) and garbage collection it really is a well kept secret and comfortable spot to rest up for a few days. Dogs are also welcome and there is fishing to be had.
I’m looking forward to going back when fire ban is over, and I’ll be saving up my firewood for then. My favourite thing to do is kick back with a drink and read books in the shade of the cliffs. Sunset is for walks with the puppies.
